Arrival and Departure Policy

Check in – 1400 Hours Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.Check-Out – 11: 00 Hours Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.

A recent Government notification requires guests to present proof of identity at the time of check in. Guests are requested to carry with them the required document during their travel.

Guarantee Policy                 

All bookings must be guaranteed at time of reservation by Credit Card or Travel Agency. All major credit cards are accepted.

Mandatory Meal Supplement

Mandatory meal supplement is applicable for stays at Sikkim Bliss Hotels & Resorts on Christmas Eve, 24th December and New Year Eve, 31st December.

Cancellation Policy

Guests are requested to cancel reservation within the stipulated period as mentioned below to avoid any cancellation charges.

• Guaranteed reservation may be cancelled 72 hours prior to the date of arrival is 100% Refundable.
• Guaranteed reservation may be cancelled 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, will incur 50% cancellation fees equivalent to accommodation charge of entire length of stay.
• Guaranteed reservation may be cancelled 24 hours prior to the date of arrival or within 24 hours of arrival date will incur a cancellation fees equivalent to accommodation charge of entire length of stay.
• In case of Group Booking cancellation or modification 20 days prior of arrival date one night retention charge of entire length of stay is applicable.
• Cancellations are not accepted over the phone. All Cancellations must be made in writing through the reservation@sikkimbliss.com.
• Please be advised Cancellation upon Arrival/ No-show/ Early Departure/ Change of Dates/ Partial Cancellation i.e. Reduction of accommodation booked will be treated as Cancellation and attract 100% rotations charges.
• All bookings are tentativeunless paid for in advance. The booking is not confirmed till we send you booking confirmation. In case we receive the payment and there are no rooms available, full booking amount will be refunded.
• Accommodation may be extendable on pro-rata basissubject to availability.
• All disputes subject to Sikkim Jurisdiction.
• In case of online money transfer transaction charges/bank charges will not be refunded.

Child Policy

• Up to two children under 12 years’ age can be accommodated in the parents’ room, without extra bed at no additional charge on room only basis.

Meals for children can be availed on extra charges as below:

• Below 6 year – complimentary.
• Between 6-12 years –Complimentary without extra bed and Breakfast will be charged as Rs. 300+GST / Lunch & Dinner – 400+GST.
• Above 12 years – full charge.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

• Food and beverage for rooms should be ordered through the In-Room Dining only. No outside food & alcoholic beverages are allowed in the rooms or in the hotel premises. Any liquor brought into the hotel by guests will be kept at the front desk until checkout.
• Hotel will not be held responsible if guests consumes outside food and get adversely affected by the bad quality of outside food.
• Alcoholic beverage service is not allowed below 21 years of age.

 SECURITY   

1. Incendiary or dangerous articles are not permissible inside the hotel. No fire-acts or an act causing threat to human lives is non-permissible in hotel premises. .
2. Guest shall not be allowed to carry any arms, firearms or ammunition with them within the hotel compound. Even in the name of personal security guard/body guard, guest shall not be allowed to have any arm, firearms, ammunition. If it is found at any point of time that this norm is violated by the Guest or any person accompanying him, shall be taken seriously and the guest and/or the accompanying person shall have to leave the hotel premises immediately settling the bill. This policy is without prejudice to Hotel Management right to immediately report the matter to concerning authorities.
3. Hotel does not assume liability for any items left unattended in any area of the hotel. Hotel may require security officers for certain occasions. In order to maintain adequate security measures Guest may be required to inform Hotel security personnel as determined by the Hotel Security department.
4. Chlorofeel Hotels and Resorts consider guest comfort and security as our priority, particularly when faced with today’s global security challenges. As our valued guest, we are committed to creating an environment of security and wellbeing throughout your stay. Our security personnel patrol the premises 24 hours a day. CCTV cameras are installed strategically in all public areas.

ILLICIT ACTIVITY

The hotel will report all suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone suspected of involvement in such activity. The hotel reserves the right to enter any area of the hotel, including guestrooms, should there be a reason for suspicion of illegal activity or if we suspect our property, staff, or guests are at risk.

Terms:

1. For the room types which can accommodate an extra bed a maximum of one extra bed is permissible.
2. A maximum of one extra person per room (where extra bed is permissible) can be accommodated.
3. Guests must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or has to be accompanied by an adult with valid government issued identification with photograph and address at the time of check in as per the directions given by Sikkim government.
4. Please be advised room numbers cannot be pre-assigned or confirmed in advance. You may contact reservations department or front office department for assigning the room on arrival however, under no circumstances can the hotel be liable for the unavailability of a specific room number.
5. Valid government issued identification with photograph and address proof is required for all the guests occupying and visiting the room.
6. Effective 2nd October 2008, the Government has introduced “No-Smoking” legislation for hotels, restaurants and all public places. As a consequence, smoking is prohibited in all parts of the hotel except in designated area where smoking is permitted. The hotel has dedicated smoking guest bedrooms. Should you desire a smoking bedroom, please let us know. We shall endeavor to reserve a smoking bedroom for you, subject to availability.
7. To maintain privacy of our resident guests and the tranquility of the hotel, the hotel does not allow visitors to guest rooms without registration and valid government issued photo identification proof with address. No more than two visitors are permissible in a guest room at any point of time. Visitors are not permissible in guest rooms with or without the occupant post 8 PM.
8. Management reserves the right to deny use of the rooms or service to any person, as its sole discretion in cases including but not limited to illegal or questionable conduct, threatening or intimidating staff members, using abusive or inappropriate language or gestures, engaging acts which disturb the tranquility of the hotel or privacy of guests.

PRIVACY POLICY

To maintain the privacy and peace of the hotel, guests are not permitted to make sounds which emit out of their rooms. We believe in maintaining the privacy of all the information of the guest we have with us and shall be used for our purposes only. However, all the requisite and relevant information of guest of any other nationality/foreigner regarding his/her stay in Hotel, as is required to be shared under the law, applicable time to time, shall be shared with local police/administration, as per rules.
